Softball Recap: Olympus Has No Trouble Against Alta

Olympus never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Alta Hawks 8-0. Considering the Titans have won three games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Charlie Turner, who gave up just five hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Alta off the board. That's the most strikeouts Turner has posted since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Allisson Robles, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Jocelyn Stern was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Olympus' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Alta, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Olympus is set to take on their familiar foe West at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alta will square off against rival East at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
