Soccer Recap: Triway Comes Up Short

After flying high against Aquinas last Wednesday, Triway came back down to earth. The Titans lost 6-1 to the Chippewa Chipps on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Triway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 307th, while Chippewa are ranked 113th).

Triway's goal came courtesy of Elise Wigal, who's now up to six this season.

Triway's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Chippewa, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Triway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chippewa, they will take on Cornerstone Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
