Football Game Recap: Hinton vs. Akron-Westfield

Hinton fell to Akron-Westfield 12-24 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Hinton won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Akron-Westfield 17-16. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.

The win bumped Hinton's record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Akron-Westfield's record to 3-2.

Next week Hinton take on Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn at 7:00 PM. Hinton will be strutting in after a victory while Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn will be stumbling in from a defeat. Akron-Westfield will be staying on the road, facing off against Gehlen Catholic. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
