Baseball Recap: West Jefferson Panthers vs. Challis Vikings

West Jefferson is still looking for their season's first win. They lost 12-2 to the Challis Vikings on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Jefferson of the 17-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.

For Challis' part, Brayden Ollar was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Ollar has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Ollar was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4.
