Basketball Recap: Arrowhead Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Arrowhead won the last time they faced Waukesha North, and Natalie Kussow did her part to make sure it happened again. The Arrowhead Warhawks blew past the Waukesha North Northstars, posting a 69-16 victory thanks in part to Kussow, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. Her evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Sidney Zehner was another key player, going 7 of 11 on her way to 14 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (two).

The win made it two in a row for Arrowhead and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Waukesha North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Arrowhead will venture away from home to take on Catholic Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arrowhead is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.9 points per game this season. As for Waukesha North, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-29 victory against South Milwaukee on the 16th.
