Softball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Watertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Dakota Valley Panthers, falling 8-1.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Dakota Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Watertown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 loss against Harrisburg on the 2nd. As for Dakota Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-7 win against Pierre T.F. Riggs on the 2nd.
