Volleyball Recap: West Covina Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for West Covina, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past the Westridge Tigers 3-2.

West Covina was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-92), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-23, 25-20, 14-25, 15-11.

The win got West Covina back to even at 5-5. As for Westridge, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Covina will challenge Montclair at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westridge, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Brentwood School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
