Volleyball Recap: St. John Has No Trouble Against Harding

St. John won the last time they faced Harding and things went their way on Thursday too. The Fighting Herald blew past the Skippers 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant St. John was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-9.

Emma Hutchins paced St. John's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hutchins got some help from Lilliana Mather and her 12 assists. Hutchins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The win got St. John back to even at 1-1. As for Harding, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

St. John didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Pymatuning Valley on the 26th. As for Harding, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Richmond Heights on the 23rd.
