Softball Recap: Eastwood Troopers vs. Montwood Rams
Montwood typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Eastwood proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Montwood Rams 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Eastwood.
Samara Escobedo was a standout: she went 3-for-7 with a triple, a run, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriela DeAnda, who scored a run while going 3-for-7.
