Basketball Recap: Lin-Wood Comes Up Short

Lin-Wood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Moultonborough Academy Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-20 two weeks ago.

Lin-Wood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Moultonborough Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lin-Wood will welcome Gorham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moultonborough Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
