Baseball Recap: Warren East Takes a Loss

Warren East lost against Apollo back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders fell 4-1 to the Eagles.

Warren East has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Apollo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Warren East will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Christian County at 3:30 p.m. As for Apollo, they will head out to face off against Owensboro at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.3, the Red Devils 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
