Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Shattuck Indians

Buffalo hasn't had much luck against Shattuck recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Buffalo Bison will look to defend their home court against the Shattuck Indians at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Buffalo was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 30-26 to Waynoka.

Meanwhile, Shattuck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 63-38 to Arnett. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Wildcats are ranked 79th).

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Shattuck, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Things could have been worse for Buffalo, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 42-28 loss to Shattuck in their previous matchup back in January. Can Buffalo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
