Myers Park and Ardrey Kell are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Myers Park's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over Palisades. Abby Petty was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Ardrey Kell hasn't lost a match since March 27th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Berry as they made off with a 10-1 victory. Given Ardrey Kell's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while Berry are ranked 322nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ardrey Kell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those six games. As for Myers Park, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6-2.

Myers Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Ardrey Kell in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
