Baseball Recap: Forsyth Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Forsyth faced off against Logan-Rogersville on Saturday. The Panthers fell 6-2 to the Wildcats. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Forsyth and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Logan-Rogersville, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Forsyth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Mt. Vernon on the 28th. As for Logan-Rogersville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Hollister on the 28th.
