It was a good run, but Crawford unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Hay Springs Hawks 41-36. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 30-25.

When it comes to explaining why Crawford lost, don't look at Tianna Clark. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points and three steals.

Hay Springs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mya Turman led the charge by dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. What's more, Turman also posted a 55% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2023. Devyn Young was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Hay Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-11.

Crawford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hay Springs, they will take on Shelton at 6:00 p.m. on February 28th. Shelton will roll in looking for their 25th straight victory, something Hay Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
