Basketball Recap: Lincoln Prep Comes Up Short

Lincoln Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 52-39 to the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Lightning, who fell 35-33 when the teams last met back in November of 2022.

Despite the loss, Lincoln Prep still got an impressive performance from Lucky Singh, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 15 points and seven boards. That's the most points Singh has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Filleman, who scored six points.

Lincoln Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Glendale Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

Lincoln Prep has already played their next matchup, a 59-47 defeat against Arete Prep on the 31st. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 82-38 victory against Wickenburg on the 3rd.
