Baseball Recap: Central Valley Comes Up Short

Central Valley fell victim to Montour and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 9-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since March 17th.

Central Valley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Montour, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Valley will take on Hopewell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
