After a string of five wins, Edgerton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mineral Point Pointers. The match marked the Crimson Tide's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Edgerton's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Mineral Point, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgerton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Martin Luther at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mineral Point, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Dominican at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Dominican knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Mineral Point likes a good challenge.
