Volleyball Recap: Speedway Takes a Loss

Speedway was the 3-1 winner over Indianapolis Crispus Attucks when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sparkplugs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While the Sparkplugs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-11 in the first set.

Speedway started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-23, 16-14.

Speedway dropped their record down to 4-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, their record is now 9-7.

Speedway has already played their next matchup (against Beech Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they will challenge International at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
