Basketball Recap: Randolph-Henry's Losing Streak Snapped at 20 Games

Randolph-Henry can bid farewell to their 20-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lunenburg Central Chargers by a score of 33-26. This was a revenge game for the Statesmen: when they faced off against the Chargers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 49-12 defeat.

Randolph-Henry's victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-11. As for Lunenburg Central, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Randolph-Henry will face off against Prince Edward County at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Prince Edward County will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Randolph-Henry surely won't give up without a fight. Lunenburg Central has already played their next contest (against Nottoway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
