Amherst had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-13 win over the Brillion Lions. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Amherst's third in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points over those games. As for Brillion, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

Coming up, Amherst will take on Mayville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals' defense has only allowed 6.8 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Brillion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
