Logan is a perfect 3-0 against Mountain Crest since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Grizzlies will venture away from home to take on the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Logan will be strutting in after a victory while Mountain Crest will be coming in after a defeat.

Logan had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bear River on Tuesday. The Grizzlies put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Mountain Crest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of West Field.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Mountain Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Logan took their victory against Mountain Crest in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
