Baseball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

The Lincoln County Panthers came up short against the Horseheads Blue Raiders on Thursday, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Hunter Chaffin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Lincoln County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Horseheads, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
