Spotswood won against South Plainfield  on Saturday with eight  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. The Chargers were the clear victors by  an  8-0 margin over the Rahway Indians. Considering the Chargers have won six games by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 The team  relied heavily on  Carter Cumiskey, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  triple. That's the most  doubles  he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Sebastian Saracino, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
Spotswood pushed their record up to 12-6 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Rahway, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spotswood will head out to  square off against Florence Township Memorial  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Rahway, they will square off against Franklin at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
