McComb had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McComb's record is now 5-9-1. As for Cory-Rawson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

Coming up, McComb will head out to square off against Leipsic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cory-Rawson, they will take on Hardin Northern at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Hornets will need to watch out since the Polar Bears have now posted at least ten runs in their last six games.
