Baseball Recap: Platte Canyon Huskies vs. Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes

Platte Canyon extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 4-15 in the process. They came up short against the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes, falling 22-10. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-5 on Saturday.

Jacob Haase was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and nine unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Haase was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.

In other batting news, Jerod Horta was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
