Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Red Tornadoes vs. Anadarko Warriors

Clinton hasn't had much luck against Anadarko recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Clinton Red Tornadoes will take on the Anadarko Warriors in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Clinton is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 30th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Cimarron. One positive for the Red Tornadoes, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Anadarko has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 26.5 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They fell 58-47 to Ardmore. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Anadarko fell to 3-1. As for Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Clinton took a serious blow against Anadarko when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 81-13. Can Clinton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
