Basketball Recap: Lockhart's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

It was a proper cat-fight when Lockhart duked it out withNavarro on Friday. The Lockhart Lions came out on top against the Navarro Panthers by a score of 51-38. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Panthers are ranked 1344th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lockhart's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Navarro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Lockhart will be home for the holidays to greet Liberty Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Navarro, they will face off against Luling at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Navarro is facing Luling at the right time seeing as Luling is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
