Baseball Recap: Samson Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Samson lost 15-5 to Luverne. That's two games in a row now that Samson has lost by exactly ten runs.

Samson dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Luverne, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Samson will square off against Laurel Hill at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hoboes have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Luverne, they will face off against Elba at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
