Softball Recap: Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers vs. Whitmore Lake Trojans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shrine Catholic, Our Lady of the Lakes was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Whitmore Lake Trojans.
Kaitlyn Comerford was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off six hits. Comerford was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Molly Ronquillo and Kennidy Koshorek did most of the damage at the plate: Ronquillo went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Koshorek went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
