Soccer Recap: Arnold Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Arnold walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lincoln Trojans 1-0. For the Marlins, this counts as revenge for the 8-0 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Arnold has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four games. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-3 record this season.

Arnold wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Chiles on the 28th. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
