Game recap: Buena Park High School Football Team beats Schurr

MONTEBELLO, Calif. - After two lead changes, Buena Park (Calif.) took the lead for good when they threw a touchdown with 8:00 left in the second quarter and held on to defeat Schurr (Montebello, Calif.) 34-14 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the second quarter, the Coyotes were up 14-13 at the half.

Buena Park grew its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. BP scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Deven Boston.

Schurr (0-1) goes up against La Serna in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Buena Park (2-0) locks horns with Magnolia also in a non-conference game.
