Basketball Recap: Euclid Comes Up Short

Euclid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 65-21 loss at the hands of the Cornerstone Christian Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 634th, while the Patriots are ranked 316th).

Euclid's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cornerstone Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Euclid will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North at 12:00 p.m. on the 27th. Cornerstone Christian will take on Riverside in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
