Volleyball Recap: Washburn Takes a Loss

Washburn lost against Hurley back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Castle Guards fell 2-0 to the Northstars.

Washburn has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Hurley, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Washburn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mellen on the 11th. As for Hurley, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bessemer at 5:45 p.m. on the 22nd.
