Volleyball Recap: Providence Classical Christian Comes Up Short

If Providence Classical Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Academe of the Oaks last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Trinity Prep Lions on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-5, 25-9.

Maddisyn Sellars paced Providence Classical Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Sellars got some help from Aubrey Boeving and her two assists.

Providence Classical Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Trinity Prep, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Providence Classical Christian by a score of 3-0 on Friday.
