Soccer Game Preview: Pensacola Catholic vs. West Florida

The Pensacola Catholic Crusaders will face off against the West Florida Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pensacola Catholic will be strutting in after a victory while West Florida will be coming in after a defeat.

Pensacola Catholic's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Pensacola. The victory was some much needed relief for the Crusaders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, West Florida entered their contest against Arnold on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. West Florida lost 4-0 to Arnold. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Marlins are ranked fourth).

Pensacola Catholic's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for West Florida, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2-3.
