Volleyball Game Preview: Lutheran Crusaders vs. Hartsburg-Emden Stags + How To Watch

The Lutheran Crusaders will head out on the road to challenge the Hartsburg-Emden Stags at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutheran has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with ten straight defeats, while Hartsburg-Emden will come in with 11 straight wins.

On Tuesday, Lutheran came up short against Calvary and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Hartsburg-Emden hadn't done well against Quincy Notre Dame recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Stags narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Raiders 2-1.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Hartsburg-Emden, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.

Lutheran couldn't quite get it done against Hartsburg-Emden in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Crusaders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
