Cross skates past Palmetto Scholars Academy with ease

The Cross Trojans can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Palmetto Scholars Academy, posting a 71-38 win on the road. The win was nothing new for Cross as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Leading Cross to victory were Caden Ramsey and Jamez Way. Ramsey scored 18 points along with three steals, while Way scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals. Way is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Middleton, who scored eight points.

Cross has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Palmetto Scholars Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cross will square off against St. John's at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for St. John's: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Cross has snatched up seven consecutive wins on the road. As for Palmetto Scholars Academy, they will take on Lowcountry Leadership at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmetto Scholars Academy is facing Lowcountry Leadership at the right time seeing as Lowcountry Leadership is stuck on a 22-game losing streak.
