It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Jenkins ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lee County Bobcats with a sharp 12-6 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Jenkins' win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.6 runs over those games. As for Lee County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Jenkins will face off against Knott County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lee County, they will take on Rockcastle County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
