Baseball Recap: Northwestern Regional Continues Home Dominance on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shepaug Valley, Northwestern Regional was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Wolcott RVT Wildcats as they made off with a 9-3 win. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Northwestern Regional's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Wolcott RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
