Baseball Recap: Grainger Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Grainger's offense. They came up short against the Greeneville Greene Devils on Monday, falling 12-0. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Greene Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Grainger saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor May, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Grainger's record is now 1-5. As for Greeneville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

While Grainger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
