Volleyball Recap: Pagosa Springs Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pagosa Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ignacio Bobcats. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 22-25, 25-15.

When it comes to explaining why Pagosa Springs lost, don't look at Tatiana Monterroso. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs.

Pagosa Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Ignacio, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Pagosa Springs will head out to face off against Monte Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ignacio, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Ridgway on the 17th.
