Football Game Preview: Wossman Wildcats vs. Minden Crimson Tide + How To Watch

The Wossman Wildcats will head out to challenge the Minden Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Wossman earned a 29-20 win over Peabody. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warhorses recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Wossman's defense and their eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Daniel Whitlock and Demarion Price, who racked up five sacks between them. Price is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Ryan Wilson was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Minden, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They came out on top against Southwood on Friday by a score of 42-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Considering the Crimson Tide have won five contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Minden's win came from a few key players Wossman will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caylien Aubrey, who rushed for 33 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 72 receiving yards and one touchdown.incredibly, Aubrey got all that yardage with just one huge grab Lucas Owens Jr. was in the mix too, providing Minden with two TDs.

Minden's run defense was locked in: Southwood could only muster 1.4 yards per carry. The Crimson Tide didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.6.

The win got Wossman back to even at 5-5. As for Minden, the victory also got them back to even at 5-5.

Wossman strolled past Minden in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 26-11. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crimson Tide turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
