Volleyball Recap: Colleton County Takes a Loss

Colleton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hilton Head Island Seahawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Colleton County was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hilton Head Island's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11, 25-13.

Colleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Hilton Head Island, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine matches and leaves them with a 8-24 record.

Colleton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hilton Head Island, they will face off against Bluffton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
