5A Region IV District 28 recap September 10, 2013

Carroll scaled the state rankings by moving to 617 from 697 this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region IV District 28. The Tigers climbed the ranks as a result of falling to Flour Bluff 28-25.

East Central took down Marshall 46-9 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Justin Stockton provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Steele topped Judson. Stockton's favorite target this week was D'Angelo Wallace, who caught 2 passes for 24 yards.

Wallace was the best wideout in the league this week as the Knights beat the Rockets. Jaylen Harris helped Steele's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 19 yards.

Stockton was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 211 yards on 22 carries as Steele bested Judson. LG Williams also contributed to the rushing game with 159 yards on the ground.

Stockton was a force in the backfield as Scott Lehnhoff's team defeated the Rockets.

The Knights led 5A Region IV District 28 in scoring this week after putting up 51 points on Judson. Stockton in the win.
