Basketball Recap: Chamblee Comes Up Short

The Chamblee Bulldogs were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 58-54 to the Johns Creek Gladiators.

Despite the loss, Chamblee still got an impressive performance from Eston McDow, who shot 50% from the field en route to 16 points. Thanks to that strong game, McDow now owns an excellent 41.7% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Oliver, who posted eight points.

Chamblee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Johns Creek, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chamblee will welcome Woodward Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johns Creek, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on December 5.
