East Fairmont faced Elkins in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bees never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but East Fairmont sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Andrew Harr and Devyn Gerrard scored both of East Fairmont's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

East Fairmont's win bumped their record up to 12-0-3. As for Elkins, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1-2 and their overall record down to 9-2-3.

East Fairmont wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Joseph Central on the 4th. As for Elkins, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Moorefield on the 7th.
