Southington has gone 7-2 against Hall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Blue Knights will take on the Titans at 3:00 p.m.

Southington is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: St. Joseph, who was ranked 12th at the time (Southington was ranked 25th). The Blue Knights fell 30-24 to the Cadets on Friday. The Blue Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Walker Mierzejewski picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Hall earned a 38-26 victory over Simsbury on Saturday. The Titans pushed the score to 31-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans cut but never quite recovered from.

Hall's win came from a few key players Southington will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jordan Scher, who picked up 80 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Hall also got a significant boost from Jaden Ortiz, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

Hall now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southington, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Southington didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hall when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 41-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
