Centennial waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They beat the Santiago Sharks by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-3. While the Huskies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Santiago, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Palos Verdes on the 22nd. As for Santiago, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Kennedy on the 21st.
