Rock Creek came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Nemaha Central Thunder. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

In the two sets Rock Creek was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-13, 25-12.

Ambree Portelli paced Rock Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Portelli got some help from Brynna Zoeller and her 36 assists.
